If your circumstances have changed or your Will is more than 3 years old I offer a free checking service to ensure your Will still represents your wishes.
There are a number of reasons why you may wish to have your Will checked:
I am happy to look over your current Will and advise you as to whether anything needs to be changed or if there is anything you should consider for the future.
I have had several clients come to me recently with Wills that have been purchased from coupon websites or places offering Free Wills or 'Bargain Wills'
All but one of these Wills was NOT fit for purpose. My clients were horrified to learn that they had actually put their loved ones in a worse position than they would have been if they had died intestate (without a Will).
There is quite often no provision made for minor children which could have a devastating impact should both parents die together.
There are also often issues with the Executors and Trustees that have been appointed in these Wills and you could find that someone who you may not wish to act ends up being appointed by the Courts as an Executor for your Estate.
Your Will is a legally binding document and it cannot be changed after your death. You owe it to your family to ensure that the provision you have made for them is adequate.
